At the time of writing this, i've just got back from camping in the Peak District for a week, and to be honest i've learnt alot about myself in the process. They say that travelling alone is how you best discover yourself and who you really are when no one else is around, which is cool. There was this event on called Earth First that i stumbled upon when I arrived to the site I was going to camp, call that a happy accident i guess. I met some really cool and interesting people, and I did shrooms for the first time lmao.
The way back was absolutely arduous though, I ended up missing my train because the bus connections to that part of the peak district were running late as hell that day, so I had to skip the fare, something i thought i would never do again after that one time... Still, I made it home at like 2 AM - back to my soft bed and soft sheets and soft pillow... instead of like, a self inflating mat, sleeping bag, and rucksack as a pillow
Climbed a cool hill too, very good view of a meteor shower and the solar eclipse.
